Originally the brain-child of Mr. R. Grey Hoover, our fine group now has 160 members on Facebook, has also expanded to have a Yahoo group, and as you can see, now boasts a fine new website. On our site, all authors have a bio page, and we will be publishing author interviews as well. We have authors who write in all genres, and hail from all corners of the globe.
Our group has one mission: to support and promote our fellow authors. To give writers a place to swap ideas, chat about themes, plots, characters, book covers, what to do and what not to do, and in general, improve both our work and our chances of being seen in this madcap world of publishing.
All who wish to join our fine organization are welcome. There is no fee and only one requirement. Be a writer. And you don’t even have to be a published writer. Being unpublished doesn’t mean you aren’t a writer – it just means you aren’t done writing yet

Great post, Thomas. And thanks for not saying “aspiring writers”. When we put words on paper or on a screen, we are writers, published or not. Great group, isn’t it? I think I came in just behind you and the growth has been fantastic! All the best!
I agree with you. It’s not aspiring writers – it’s writers aspiring to be published. And this day and age, that amounts to knowing how to convert a file to mobi and hiring a cover artist.
