Great advice and I’m so glad you posted this. Two things that stood out to me: “you must develop your brand and leverage your image” and “Your name is your brand. Aim for consistency that is uniquely yours. This means being true to your own writing style and interests”

Thanks Yelle…I actually was familiar with Joel a while back, since one of the sites I originally followed is Joanna Penn’s “The Creative Penn”. Another fantastic site! And you’re right…there’s no better way to fall flat on your face than to try to be someone else
