Ms. Judith has been a follower on my blog for several months, and she never fails to stop by and read my sometimes futile attempts at wit, or a post I’ve put up from another author. What I didn’t realize is that she is something of a poet, as well. Candlelight
Tonight, I write by candlelight,
Which sweetly blocks the darkest night.
Now through the flicker, burning bright,
I feel my spirit flow.
At last, though time’s so quickly passed,
I feel the living, breathing blast,
Of soul. Awakening at last,
My heart’s been set aglow.
My verse I write without a care
For what others will think. I dare
To place on space I have prepared
My words, my thoughts let go.
A lovely lady. A lovely poet.
