I want to introduce you to a fabulous poet – Mr. Gavriel Navarro :)

Mr. Navarro started following my blog recently, and as I always do, I slid over to his site, to see what I could see…

What I saw was some truly fabulous poetry and artwork. I spent the next several minutes browsing about, and I’ll be back very soon to look around a bit more.

Goodbye Innocence… / Adiós Inocencia…

You already know my secrets…
There is no serene journey
even less, discrete steps
my voice moistens the rain
without avoiding your loving heart
growing among the virtues
of a generous body
where my hands found respite
and there is no such ideal world
in the innocence where we lived,
away from honour, delicious
as the rubbing between skin and silk
leaving behind the spirit of innocence
silent as a witness of our love….

 

Ya tu sabes mi secretos…
no hay camino sereno
mucho menos, pasos discretos
mi voz humedece a la lluvia
sin eludir tu corazón amante
creciendo entre las virtudes
de un cuerpo generoso
donde mi manos hallaron respiro
y es que no hay tal mundo ideal
en la inocencia donde habitábamos,
lejos del honor, deliciosos
como el roce entre piel y seda
dejando atrás al espíritu de la inocencia
como testigo silente de nuestro amor…
